Come experience an evening of rejuvenation and healing, with the unique releasing, relaxing, and therapeutic combination of Restorative Yoga and Reiki.
Breathe and release into the support of bolsters, blankets, and other props that are intentionally positioned to support the body into a state of relaxation, releasing tension and stress. As you rest in the poses, Reiki will be offered individually and to the group, as a gentle technique that connects the universal energy and living light energy to bring balance and harmony to the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual bodies. This combined healing practice of Restorative Yoga and Reiki promotes the nervous system to enter a state of balanced relaxation, encouraging both the body and mind to quiet, and allows for healing on a physical and emotional level.
During this 2-hour session, Angelique will guide you through restorative poses while using therapeutic Reiki to help deepen your experience. Guided visualizations, mindfulness, and sound healing will also be used to enhance the practice.

About your guide:
Angelique Raptakis is a RYT-500 Yoga Teacher, certified Reiki Master, and certified Community Herbalist who looks to nature for inspiration, weaving its lessons into her classes. She believes that through the practice of yoga, we can more easily come to the connection between our body, our breath, our mind, and the universe we find ourselves in.
Angelique offers Hatha, Restorative, and Yin yoga classes, as well as private Reiki sessions. She has completed 50 hours Restorative Yoga training, Surviving Assault (Yoga Essentials as Early Intervention Following Assault or Trauma), and numerous Ayurveda immersions.
